I've got 3 dozen eggs. Can be picked up in Langley, BC, or shipped Wednesday. $15/dozen.

Caramel Queens are a cross between Light Sussex hens and Welsummer rooster. The chicks are sex-linked: girls are brown, boys are yellow. Adult CQs are a fawn brown color with black necklace and tail feathers. They lay a dark brown egg. Good layers and calm, friendly birds.

Hi, Black Dove. Sorry to say, I'm sold out thru the end of April, at which time I need to take the Light Sussex hens back into producing Light Sussex chicks. I just had some extra eggs between incubator loads last week. But I plan to be producing them next year, and more because I expect to have more good laying Light Sussex hens next year. [Onward and upward with the Light Sussex Project!]
