The thing I like best is that they self seed all over the place.

Columbines, Dame's Rocket, Black-eyed Susans and Forget-me-nots,  we find any of them growing in unexpected places.

One of my favorite flowers, and so many varieties as well. Very exotic looking for a cold climate.

They are beautiful! Columbines are one of my favorite flowers Smile They grow wild in the mountains in the interior off BC in a red and yellow variety as well. Very hardy!

Yes you are right about the wild variety, that is the first time I remember finding out their name, when I first saw the wild ones in BC... they are true beauties!
