These guys are about 10 weeks old now, looking good but definitely not show stock.
Asking $60 for the trio.
Can deliver to Medicine Hat, Burdette and possibly Swift Current in the next couple weeks. I might even have a ride for them in July to head north up along Hwy #2 to Westlock or stops in between.
*Price will go up with brooding*

Shocked  good thing I didnt know about THIS yesterday!!

what are they like for broodiness when they are older??  I am loving that Blossom is broody for me, and I am amazed at how many eggs that tiny chicken can stuff under her and keep warm!

Well of the 4 hens we have all 4 have been broody already (this is their first year laying), 2 are setting (one on 8 guinea eggs and 1 on 20+ bantam cochin eggs).
So these little ladies will definitely be good broodies for you. I wasn't sure yesterday what I had for sale, have to go around with a paper and mark down what I have available and post it.

oh.  I bing-machined some pictures.  I really shouldnt of done that.   and then of course the kids saw.... really shouldnt of brought up pictures!

I will talk with Mister tonight.  I think I *might* take this trio if they are still available and never mind getting a rooster for the Japanese hens...

Chick Help

I think I will go with the "if they go broody, then it's way cheaper for me to buy these and let them do the hatching than it is for me to buy a new incubator Money Throw"  .

but of course, I will prombtly forget this argument once I do have them and still buy my incubator over the winter!!  ahahaha
