Peaceful moments....

I haven't been out to take many pictures lately, but I just thought I would share a few I managed to snap.

Oh my girl. At first my nose got kind of feeling twitchy, kind of sneezy, and felt funny and then I knew that tears were going to well up in my eyes, and that one or two may then fall from my eyes to begin to run down my cheeks. You move me Silkie. I so remember all those little stories and pictures that you have brought to us, to listen, to see, to walk by your side too, as we enter your part of this world. Never stop being you, and grace us with your pictures always.

That little moth. I have a picture of one like that, somewhere in my pictures on my computer. It was the same type, I so clearly remember that little moth. I'll see if I can find that picture and bring it here, if you don't mind, it was just so pretty, I can barely stand to keep these things to myself, beauty. And oh, that was a horse? The eye, right? Oh, oh, oh, even if it wasn't and it was some other animal, what a most beautiful, beautiful picture. Something about eyes....thank you girl, have wonderful days, CynthiaM.

Yes, that is a horses eye.  If you look closely you can kind of see me reflected in his eye.  The moth's are called Eyed Hawk Moths.

Thanks for the feedback.   Last night a friend suggested I enter some in the Art Gallery's Theme show "MISTY RIVERS & WATERFALLS...living in our landscapes".  I honestly don't feel like these are worthy, but maybe if I can get back out that way to take more, with the theme in mind.  Not sure if I can though.  I'll have to find out more about the show and what it involves.

I think those are beyond worthy to me!  especially the last one.  breathtaking.

Have you ever thought of that SB?  Or how about starting a nature photography group in your community?

Awe inspiring yet again SB.

Well, I don't really know exactly what I am doing to teach anyone anything.  I just play around with different settings and take lots of pictures until I get something I like.

There is a Photography Club in Terrace, and some of the members have been bugging me to join for a while now.  They do field trips and stuff.  I think it would be a lot of fun and I could learn a lot, but at this point in my life it wouldn't work with working and looking after my girls.  Maybe one day.  Right now I just think I am lucky to get out once in a while.
