I made a cake!

We swap birthday cakes at work and I got the kindergarten teacher. What kindergarten teacher wouldn't like something like this? I have to admit tho... I copied the idea from a Google image search!

What a wonderful cake for a math teacher!! How many Smarties in the cake? I know a retired teacher that would love such a cake. Lucky kindergarten teachers: they always have all the fun.

That is a lot of chocolate. It turned out very well. Maybe you have a new career path if teaching goes south!

Is it Smarties to the bottom or is there cake under there?

The Smarties are just topping the cake. Imagine cutting if it were all smarties!

Be a pretty easy recipe though.

1. Tie Kitkats into a circle.
2. fill with Smarties

Remember cake walks? As I child every community event I went to had a cake walk. It was always very exciting, there were so many great bakers around. What happened to cake walks?

I love cake and pie and cookies, and of course trifle, chocolate, chocolate covered peanuts, chocolate almonds, ice cream, now if you wer to put that all together........

Nice! I will be cake making it up for my kid's Angry Birds party on Saturday.

I've never worked with fondant before, so this should be interesting.
