My stall dry is dusty and powdery. I would like something more coarse and rocky. Is there such a product? If so, where can I find it?

Sue I talked to these guys at Agribition a couple years ago. They make stall dry, but on this page there is an industrial absorbant that might work, it is far more granular. I think it is made the same way as the other stall dry so should be safe for your livestock if they did happen to eat some.

It looks great, Hidden! Does it absorb the ammonia odor as well? I didn't see but it was a quick read.

I am not sure, Havent used it myself yet. But it is all made from the same stuff from powder all the way up to the granular. So I would guess if stall dry worked for you then this granular stuff would too.
The plant is out of BC, so should be able to get some. i know Peavey mart is a distributor of their products so they might be able to order in the industrial stuff.

I have been using a new product out here called Mistral. It's kind of like stall dry but the more you mix it it gets light and fluffy. They also add in tea tree oil so it smells lovely and fresh. I uses it on the horses beding and the main hen house (adult birds only). SO far so good.

Apparently you can even place a pan of it so they have to walk through it and it drys their feet off so you dont get muddy eggs!
