Chanteclers at CHB show?

I was wondering what the placings were like for Chanteclers. It was nuthatch333's partridge that was Reserve of Breed, right? Would like to hear how many were shown, etc. Thanks in advance Chanty people!

They was a very impressive showing of Whites, Partridge and Buff.

Best of Breed was a White Cock shown by Chantecler Syndicate and Reserve Breed went to a Partridge Cockerel shown by Nuthatch333 ( 1st time exhibitor too!)

Not sure on exact numbers but I would say there was 20 or more Whites, about 20 Partridge and 7 Buffs.

So almost 50 Chanteclers!!!
Some very nice birds with great type, size and condition!

Haha, really wish I could have made it up, but I'll be there next year lol so watch out! Always fun to compare my birds to other peoples' so if anyone has any pictures...? Really good to hear a partridge got reserve of breed. Awesome to hear both the official colors and the unofficial color were all represented at this show too.

I have quite a few pictures of all the chanties, I just can't seem to post from my computer. I will edit them and get someone to post them for me.
Chickeesmom took first place in the partridge chanteclers pullets. I think she took first in the partridge hens too?

Tara, you do realize that the avatar is a picture of the buckeye rooster that he brought to the National in November, last, right? He took champion of the breed with that rooster if I am not mistaken (you probably knew that), also with his white chantecler rooster taking champion too, think he is gonna kick some butt for sure, at the next show, watch out!! I wish I had the capacity to have just one more (or maybe two) breeding pens, I sure do love the buff chantecler. If only I could get them to lay a green, blue or pink egg, then I could just have a few hens just to look at (I could then differentiate the eggs and not hatch any, smiling). I love buff birds!! I wonder why more chanteclers aren't in B.C., there are some, but certainly not the numbers there seem to be in the provinces eastward. Oh well. That sure must have been a lovely display of the Canadian chicken breed, lovely post....have a most beautiful day, CynthiaM.
