My First Attempt at a 3 Level Pumpkin Carving

Ive always wanted to try one of these. Where you carve out some parts, just peel back the skin on other parts to create depth. This was my first attempt. A few cut fingers from the scalpel later, and this is the finished product!

Very cool! Did you follow a pattern or is that free hand? Either way, amazing, hope your fingers recover!

I followed a template. I am actually very NOT artistic. I can draw stick men and stick horses lol Ive always wanted to try one of these! I am going to buy the proper tools, I thinkt theyre the same things you use for carving clay, those little loop shaped thingers. I was using a scalpel I bought to lance a calves face LOL Never did use it for that, so it got used on a gord haha
