Happy Thanksgiving

I know most of us will be busy tomorrow, so I thought I would wish everyone a very happy Thanksgiving. We all have so much to be thankful for, and most of the time don't even realize how good we have it. Millions would trade there lives for ours in a heartbeat at any given moment.
It has already been the best possible Thanksgiving for me, and I hope you all enjoy your time with family and friends this weekend, and be thankful for just how good our lives really are.

Legal circumstances left us living in my mother's travel trailer fourteen years ago, but we often look back on that Thanksgiving as one of the best. Our worldly processions had been stripped away, but we still had each other and were in good health. We wouldn't want to go back to that circumstance and we still have the things that really matter. One real improvement is we have ham for those that don't care for turkey.

We just had our own pork loin with our own juniper berries and local apples. What could be better?
We are a few weeks away from our own turkeys.

YES happy Thanksgiving to every one and we should be so happy to live were we do and have what we have, 35 pound turkey in the oven and later a leg of lamb, potatoes, carrots and PUMKIN PIE with fresh farm whipping cream.

We are having our big feed at lunch time tomorrow. It is hubby`s birthday, so killing one bird for two occasions!
