I need advice on breeding/raising Muscovies.
I have a duck that is sitting on 8 or so eggs and they are due to hatch in a couple weeks - my first question is should I move her away from the drake and the other duck? I'm afraid the drake or other duck will hurt the ducklings as we have been waiting a long time for these little ones!
Second, if I want to put together another trio next spring with the new ducklings how should I go about it - pick 2 ducks and find an unrelated drake?
My current beloved trio came from cbkelly and I'm not sure where they originated but would love to get in touch with someone who also has muscovies.
