When or what

When is a good time to let young turkey chicks outside ? they are fully feathered and seem very healthy , but I remember how quickly they would die off on the farm years ago .What is required for them ? heat bulbs ? small pen ? a lot of shelter ? any info would be appreciated .

If they are fully feathered, I'd think right away BUT poults seem to be more sentitive to ground soil, so I don't know... I'm sorry I can't answer your questions. Hopefully someone with turkeys and more experience will chime in.
