dominique breeding group

I will have a breeding group of 2013 hatched dominiques for sale this month. Must be picked up on or before sept 28.
5 pullets with 2 unrelated cockerels $150 for the group.
These are not culls but what I judge to be of breeder quality.

Oh geeze, someone jump on that, Miry has been working hard on the Dominique breed for betterment and I bet she has some nice breeders in that!! Aw..thanks Cynthia! They are pretty decent birds in my opinion. They mature very early and they lay their hearts out. A very efficient heritage breed and you gotta love those rose combs.
I should add I am willing to deliver to Innisfail Sept 13. They will NOT be sold through the auction. (No slight meant to the auction just I prefer to sell my birds to people who I can meet and possibly keep in contact with in the future.

I will only take them up there with a deposit down.

Miry, get some pictures in your thread. I don't think too many people might know what Dominique look like, or maybe they do, but trust me, pictures are one of the best sellers. One day I will have dominiques. One fine day, when I have room for more than 3 breeds. I loved my barred Plymouth rocks, and these are similar in some ways, but way, way nicer and so much better suited to cold climates with that rose comb. Get some pictures in this thread, just do it. Looks like I will also have a breeding group of Buckeyes for sale too so will have to take pics of them as well, they are slightly younger.

Good Miry, I am serious, pictures make people know what is being offered. Lovely, the buckeyes, I don't have my breeders anymore, decided to only focus on two breeds, just so much easier, but one day again, I will have that breed, when I have room, buckeyes and dominiques. Ever Shipped birds? I really want them as i keep watching the few i am raising and wishing i had more pullets to work with. I am hoping that i can send you some pics of the boys. I have many to chose from. And they all look somewhat different. Not sure what i need to be looking for in this breed. But if i had a way to get these birds i would take them.

They are beautiful birds Miry! My choice of third breed if I ever had the room! Those rose combs - and that snazzy black and white pattern.

And CindyM, you know I have your Buckeyes now - and a nice flock of Chantecler Eh's Buckeyes too - so I am well set up as long as I can keep them out of the foxes jaws!

Ah Heda, I know you do, can't remember how you obtained them, but for surely, there are a few people around that have taken on the buckeyes that came from me, how wonderful is that!! I know where they are, and who knows, that breed too may come back to my farm. Have a beautiful day, CynthiaM.

It is too bad but chanteclereh did make a flying trip out to bc. If you had wanted some them I for sure could have got them to armstrong at least.
There is another possible trip out that way in the works for early oct but again only as far as the okanagan.

I will be in Vernon/Armstrong on the 13th. Actually leaving the area on the 13th. As i will be visiting relatives the few days prior. If it doesn't work out i would love to try eggs again in the spring.
