Publishing contest

I encourage interested parties to submit an entry to this contest. I was published in 2011 through this contest, out of over 5,000 entries I was one of 250 that was published.

There is no entry fee, you're sent a small gift (usually a bookmark) for participating, retain your copyright without restriction, and your piece is registered in the Canadian National Archives. It's worth the fun, and quite a challenge for short prose.

Also remember that Harry Potter was turned down by 9 publishers before being accepted.

Watership Down was declined by 13.

Even Lord of the Rings was turned down by one or two, and this after The Hobbit had already been published and successful.
