I love to learn to do new things, but when I was married, whatever I learned to do became 'my job'. Hubby would never do it again! I drew the line when he wanted to teach me how to use the chain saw to buck up logs for the fire. After I was divorced I gladly learned to run a chainsaw for my new boyfriend, because we worked together, side by side, pruning his hazelnut orchard, and he paid me to do it. He was always doing nice things for me without me asking, and would wash my truck whenever he borrowed it. I never felt like I did more than my share in that relationship, so no resentment. Unfortunately he went back to his ex-wife after 3 years. He's dead now.
