I just purchased a closed flock of 36 sheep. There are 15 ram lambs, around 8 months old, ready to go. Some very nice looking ones, that would be great for breeding. Taking after their father, great build.
Father is what appears to be a very nice, most likely purebred Suffolk. Very big boy, good natured. Many of the ewes appear to be pure or nearly pure suffolk, with the remainder being crossed with??? Something big and chunky, but white, or nearly white. There are a couple pure black ewes in there too.
As I say, I just picked up the whole herd, bought from a vet. He was having troubles with the coyotes eating the lambs, only 16 lambs left from 20 ewes!
