For those that did not read about our peacock The Captain he had
to have an eye and a mass removed from his oribtal socket. For
everyone that replied thanks again. He has been home (with us
gone to Edmonton) since the 17th. He is doing well - still getting
medication to avoid infection. The preliminary results are in
from the biopsy on the mass. It is not caused by bacteria or a
pathogen (good new so it does not affect the rest of our birds).
They should have a better idea in the next 10 days but at this
time appears to just have been a large infection.
Pops thanks for the offer but we were already gone when you posted
and our shows did not allow us to get on line so I did not see
your offer until today. Thank you.
Again thanks to all and everything looks good.
