My wonderful niece and nephew were on Global news this morning, part of a segment discussing issues like what it's like to be a sibling to someone who has battled Cancer.
Some of you know, my amazing nephew Ayden, whom was born with Downs syndrome, was Diagnosed with Leukaemia when he was just a few years old.

He fought like a warrior and I am proud to say that he has been in Remission for a few years now. Ayden is the heart and soul of our Family, he has brought us all together and been an angel of Blessing to our family.

I was so proud to see them both this AM.

Did anyone catch Global Edmonton this am? Here are some pics...

Oh my, now isn't that just nice. Wow, that Nephew of yours is surely a trooper, he has worked hard to keep his health, clearly that is seen. I did not see the news this AM, but am so happy that you brought pictures for us to see, what a lovely boy and girl, children rock!! They are just the best of the best and you should be very proud of these two young persons! Thank you for sharing, JohnnyAnvil!! Have a most beautiful day, CynthiaM.

Thank you for sharing that link, I watched it again and got such a kick out of Ayden and Emily.
They mean the world to me.

Emily is Ayden's younger sister, she also has Epilepsy, it has been a great deal of difficulty on my sister over the years dealing with the health of her children, but so much support has been given from the Kids with Cancer Society.

It's because of Ayden's Fight and his winning battle that I do my best to help support and volunteer for Both the Kids with Cancer as well The Make A Wish Foundation.

I am so glad that he is alive and with us today, his battle brought our family very close together and we have a very strong bond among us.

What a great way to kick off the day... I am still chuckling at Little Emily.

Cheers!

Very nice, I am thankful that you and yours are all doing well and I know too well what it is like to have children like them as my granddaughters both have CP, a struggle every day and worth every second, may god bless you all and I hope that your lives are filled with joy and happiness forever.
