The CharcoalCoturnix is rare.They are made by breeding a good Silver Coturnix male to a brown Coturnix hen. The problem is only about 1 out of 10 chicks come out Charcoal. I am working on breeding Charcoal to Charcoal to see if I can improve this ratio. The first three pictures are of a pair of Charcoal breeders in my breeding pens. The last three pictures are of a pair of normals from my breeding pens. Because they are in the breeding pens their feathers are a little rough looking.
