Is your White Poppy the big type? Or are they the single type?

Thanks. Smile

The white is not a peony poppy, just single layer of petals

Guess I got confused, with it being called a peony poppy. Sounds very pretty. Not sure what I would have to trade though. Will have to look. Smile

How do you like these beans? Are they good for eating like sting beans or better as a dried bean?

the comrade is a 70 day snap bush bean  good picked young or equally good if you dry them although I have never done that.  rare variety that produces both orange  AND black seedsbut not in the same pod.
most of these are spoken for now but until I receive the sases who knows?

All together I sent off 6 packets, hope everyone has the best of luck with their gardens this year! Thanks for the interesting seeds that lots of people sent my way...I will enjoy seeing how they grow for me.
I just had to take a picture of these orca bean seeds I have, they are so unusual looking, hard to believe nature would create such an interesting bean:

The golden sweet on the right are ones I just got last Fall from fellow member here and am looking forward to trying them out.

Those Orca beans are really neat looking. I actually had it on my list to order this morning but at the last minute I switched to a Borlotti dry bean, which is a trellising bean with vines up to 20 feet long Shocked  (thought I would save space in the garden growing up). So far I haven't had the best luck with dry beans in my garden insofar as getting any decent quantity of dry beans to store...

I would love feedback on the Orca or any other dry bean people have success with in their garden.

Ive grown the Orca beans for two years now. Mine have done excellent, they always seem to get stuck in a neglected corner of the garden and still produce quite well. Have had no problems with pests or disease. I usually grow them with corn, and although not a "pole" bean, I find they get enough height to keep the pods off the ground for good drying.
