She's getting so big! My girls looooove the animals, too. Best way to raise a kid, for sure!

Oh my, she looks like a little polar bear! Now she is either a tiny girl or that is one heck of a big bird!

Zoey is just 6 months old Sue and she stands just over two foot tall. Lindsay is holding her up, she does not stand on her own yet. That Barnevelder pullet was hatched this May.

Lovely photo! I love the tilt of the bird's head and the authority of the child's hands on the cage!

Yes she has a good eye I think already, she smiles at nice ones and frowns at bad ones. The ones she questions I decide for her. Very Happy

I can tell, she's got you right where she wants you. Word of warning, this will get much worse before it gets better! She is adorable.

One of the best part of raising chickens is the kids. My 17 month old grand daughter just put her first sentence together' wes go see chicks' She can't say 'lets' but I got the message. When she comes there is no doing anything until a visit to the hen house to feed the birds and collect the eggs. You have great times ahead of you. It just gets better and better.

Yes Sue, those were my instincts but it sounded very snooty so I went with bad grammar to sound cooler..........Rolling Eyes

My daughter is the same age, she loves going to see the bokboks (as she calls them). Several times a day, she goes to the door and points, "bokboks?" Sometimes, she does a rooster noise, too.
