After much thought I have decieded to disperse my flock of White Old English Game Bantams. I have done as much with them as I can including having earned my Citation of Excellent with the color with the Old English Game Club of America(I believe the only ones in Canada)

The flock consists of 2 really good cock birds and approx 8 hens aged 1 to 2 years old. All are birds that I have shown and won with and all are good breeders, I raised all I wanted for chicks off them in one month. I would like to try my hand at another color and my policy here is if something new comes then something must go and I need a new challange. While I can readily sell them into the U.S it would be nice to see them go here to someone who wants a top notch start in OEG. You can look on my website for pictures of the whites and email me for other pictures. Price is neg. as I am willing to raise out the young and pick the best ones out for whom ever gets them.

They would be a nice little package for a serious junior who wants to start well. Just conformation. No color worries.

You are right about that Sue, it's all about Type and these birds have it as well as something that is hard to get in whites and that is feather width and quality. While I could continue the winning ways with these guys, I am up for a new color challange in the breed.

Thanks girls I have worked hard with these birds for a number of years and they consistently produce top quality young. I really hate to part with them but our life here is changing (Retirement) and though I say I want to try a different color only time will tell as I have been quitely cutting some breeds the last couple of years as we would like to get away a bit more often. The nice thing about the whites is that you have to really work on type but also feather quality and width which is a problem in the color but I have it figured out with these birds with years of selection. I love them lots and it will be a sad day when they go to a new home. Anyway have a great day.

Mel, you would totally rock this breed! I can see you right now, with a rooster on your shoulder, wearing a pirate costume.

Thanks, but I am sad to say we will not be seeing them at any shows here. I waited and hoped but it was not to be, but the person who is getting them is thrilled and I was able to have some choice in where they ended up and know they have fallen into good hands.
