Does anyone know of a show quality line of argent brun rabbits! Would be a great help to find a good pedigree line for this breed! Thank you!

Have you contacted Charmaine Wardrop (rudolph) in Washington? I believe she still holds the certificate of development for them and she has great ones. I can ask her if you want?

I am the one looking for the bruns... And I have a few coming from Charmaine... just putting a feeler out there to see if anyone else has some for sale. I would also consider a few Champagnes if anyone has...

And hers are from the same breeder also, will be hard to find any from a whole other bloodline. Also I do not really understand why they are looking for another line right away?

Piet, I think people shy away of any thought of inbreeding. Don't get me stated on this!

OK, I am not looking for a different line... just more of them. She only has a few for me at this time, and I would like more. There are so few out there, I just thought it may be an idea to get the word out. You never know, there are rabbits being raised all over the place.

Shocked Question Sorry Piet.... nethies? as in Netherland Dwarfs? But I thought you had Flemmish...??
...
Oh wait, thats birds isn't it... I'll have to google them. I have no idea what they look like.
My experience is mostly with furred critters.... not much with the feathered.

Netherland dwarfs is what i meant to say. Yes i have Flemish and will have a few dwarfs to play with later this year also. Two extremes huh?

Well, nothing wrong with a little diversity! I looked up the Barnevelders anyway, and am starting to think they would look good in the coop with my Delawares. LOL! Thanks for keeping an eye out for me.

Can get you some creme d'argents if you can use those. They are in Ontario. Just Pm me if you want to get in touch with him.

I will keep it in mind... I am really trying not to get carried away with too many breeds at once, and already have a NZ and a NZ/Cal cross, with Bruns and 2 NZ Reds on their way... but like I said, I will keep it in mind.
