The Cluck and Quack Poultry Club, in conjunction with the American Poultry Association, and The Winnipeg Fancy Pigeon Association wishes to invite you to participate in their combined winter show. This year’s show is being held on December 1st and 2nd, at the Portage La Prairie Mall, in Portage La Prairie Manitoba.
The activities will begin with judging on Sat. The 1st at 9:00. Mr. Butch Gunderson of Pardeville, Wisconsin will judge both the poultry and waterfowl. Pigeon Judges to follow.
There will be a sales area provided for anyone looking to buy or sell birds. There will be breeders of your favourite breeds attending from Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. If you would like to sale birds of your own, there will be cages provided for a small fee.
Throughout the day there will be a silent auction, ticket raffle, as well as many other activities for the whole family.
Entries will be open to all purebred poultry, ducks, geese, guineas, and turkeys. Anyone interested in entering pigeons should contact the Winnipeg Fancy Pigeons Association.
Banquet seating for dinner on Saturday is available, and there is a special price guaranteed at the Canad Inns, Portage La Prairie MB, for those looking to stay overnight.

Oh so nice, someone missed me lololol I work nights now 11 to 7
am and I cannot sleep days. I average about 4 hours sleep a day and
only sleep more on my days off during the night .I also wrk 3 evenings
a week 5 -9 pm. I read all posts but normally am too tired to hit
the keys. On my days off I am normally too tired to do anything but
have started taking vitamin and actually got some work done outside
today .
Please come, it will be nice to see other chicken folk. Although my
birds are young I will enter a few to get some feedback on them.

Hi You can coop your birds in from 6 - 10 Friday night and before
9 am Saturday morning. Judging starts at 9 am.You can coop out after
the banquet saturday or sunday morning.
I drove though portage 3 times this weekend . The building is across
from the Canad inns and is in the same strip as Rona. Rona is on
the east end and the show building is at the other end of the mall .
There is an overhead door to unload into on the west side of the
building. Hope this helps.
