Hi, looking for a solid Black or Blue OEGB cockerel.
Didn't find one last year and my Chocolate and Khaki OEGB hens are going on 4 yrs old now and I would like to hatch a few chickies out of them still.

Would like one closer to the standard but at this point am not really picky.

Can pick-up from as far as calgary by the end of the month I hope.....

Located Cranbrook, BC

Hi, I've got a spare cock bird that I would be willing to part with. Not sure about getting him to Calgary though.

I have 4 4 week old black old english chicks. I think they are 3 cockrels and 1 pullet. I only bought them because I was buying their hatch mates. They will be very nice quality as their parents are from great stock. You are welcome to any/all of them as I really had no intention on keeping them Very Happy

Thank you for the offer, I would love to have those 4 little guys as well.
Still need a roo old enough to breed rather sooner then later. I hope I can swing getting those little guys and the older cock bird from Sask, that would be perfect.

And I wish I had a Aussi roo to trade for, right now I have a flock of a measly 2 aussi roos and 1 hen, all from unrelated lines(so can't even spare the extra roo). But I am collecting eggs like mad from them and filling the bator. So should have a decend flock by summer I hope.

Now how would I go about getting any of these birds is the big million $$$$ question!

Anna if I didn't have a horse clinic that weekend I would meet you in Lethbridge.
Maybe you could Talk to Ty. He might be willing to get them to his place this next week or so and then that is only 1 hour north of Lethbridge, or he might even be at that sale??? Worth asking, I can hold the rooster for you till Ty comes past, see waht Ty says and we will get it figured out with Chantecler_eh?

Thanks for the offers of rides, I'm in no hurry to get rid of him so if you can get the ride(s) set up I'll get him out to the #1 highway at the Maple Creek Junction. The farthest west I'll be travelling in the near future is to Milo in mid-March to pick up some chicks from Ty. He's a nice friendly little bird, I'm just keeping him with another pair of black OEGB at the moment.

So I had a good look at the 4 dudes tonight. I think they actually might be 3 pullets and a cockerel. The biggest one now has wattles developing and the other 2 I thought were boys dont. He also has the biggest tail of them all and looks really showy. The littlest one I ampretty sure is a pullet but has a black comb. NOt sure what that is about? I really know nothing about these guys!

I hope we can get a ride for these guys to you!
