I see Nelsons poultry sale is May 5th. With M.J.s on the 6th Both auctions are on the same weekend. I guess I have to move Simpsons date. It seems a little suspicious just like it was planned. Anyway now what? Do we go April 28Th or May 12th or just leave it. Is it going to effect us or them? I need some input here Thanks in advance. DLC

^ Not sure two different sales on the same weekend would be good for either event. Suspect I guess I'd go the weekend before if at all possible.

That is a little strange that Nelsons would put their auction the same weekend, Moose Jaw books theirs well in advance. Guess they figured no conflict since they are different days?

Ty's sale, the Critter and Craft sale is on the 12th of May. But it is an Alberta sale so might not interfere with your's that much?

We are talking a Sale in Swift Current on the 21st of April, not sure if that is a go or not yet but that was one of the only weekends that the place was available.

If I were you I would try for a later May date, seems more people are interested in chicks then, maybe more people have hatched and have more for sale then as well?

I think it may have to be April 28th as I dont want to interfere with the sale in Wadena which was towards the end of May last year. I'll check with the Rink and get back to everyone. Thanks for the input. DLC

I would love April 28th. There's so many in May, it'd be nice to get an early start.

We usually do the end of May, however as the weather is still really iffy then, and we cant afford any of the venues available then, we are going to have it a week or two later than usual.

At least that is the tentative plan.
