I have now been collecting pure hatching eggs from my flocks for just over a week. Their fertility is good, and while production is down a bit due to it being the middle of dark months here, they are some pretty nice flocks. I have the following available:

Now:
Blue laced red wyandotted SOLD OUT
Black copper marans SOLD OUT
olive eggers (limited quantities)
easter eggers

Soon:
Blue marans (should be very soon)SOLD OUT
polish frizzle - white crested black & blue, hopefully within 3 weeks SOLD OUT

I am hesitant to ship at the moment due to weather around the country, but if it's mild we can give it a shot.

Thanks Smile

Well Briar, good on you, that is nice to hear, let the egg shipping begin!! Think sometimes that I get better results shipping by Greyhound, something to keep in mind when shipping eggs to a reasonable distance. Nice to hear you are forging ahead. Have a wonderful day, CynthiaM.

Thanks! Smile so far so good. I am very happy with how my chickens are turning out, and I was very happy with the last batch of heritage roos we processed, too.

I have a fresh dozen blrw eggs, half dozen black copper eggs, and two blue marans eggs available right now.

Why would you make me look at this post! Oooooh the temptation!

Your eggs are beautiful! I'm drooling!

Do you think eggs would freeze in the mail this time of year? I know it's mild here so far this time of year (this is unusual. Kinda scares me because who knows when the big freeze we usually get will show up).

I'm soooo tempted, but we usually get power outages this time of year....

Now I have to look at your website again and do a little dreaming.

I love the pictures! Thanks for posting them! Smile

Oh my, the best thing out of what I have available right now would be my wyandottes. We find them quite friendly!

The best option would be wheaten ameraucana but mine aren't laying yet... Maybe coopslave or skeffling could help you out? The wheaten ams are to die for ..... Very pretty and so friendly they love to perch on my head and shoulder ....

Are you getting your blues from Cree? I would be willing to trade our BCM eggs for your BCM eggs so that we can introduce some new genes. Mine are mostly from Whitmore with a little from Pretty feathers and a little from Cree but only 2 of my hens are from Cree. My Whitmore seem to have better copper coloring on their hackles than the Cree or Pretty feathers birds.

Here is a picture of a Whitmore young Blue Copper Cock before he grew his other colors and the next is a young Whitmore Pullet and the next pic shows in the center and left BCM are Whitmore and the marbled copper on the right is a Pretty Feathers pullet. The last pic are both Whitmore pullets.

Andrew, I presume that you are directing that question to Briarwood so lets wait and see what she says.
