I will have an extra 2 dozen + ameraucana eggs available for shipment on Monday April 11th. $30/dozen, fertility has been around 75%, but with the nice weather expecting higher now.
Beautiful blue, black and splash hens in with Black and Splash Roosters.
Packaging is an additional $6.

Awesome PC, this is my first time doing the foam, glad it worked. I like the idea of the small boxes, saves a lot on shipping costs and everything is secure.

Hey I am looking for new and better ways to ship. What kind of foam are you using?

It is egg shipping foam that Miry found a while back, we did a bulk order together trying to save on shipping, but they got held up in customs for almost 3 weeks, so had to ship some eggs without them.
This was my first shipment using it, so we will see how the other's report. Some went as close as PC in Regina area, some as far as Ontario.
I like the fact that a person can fit 36 eggs in a 12X6X6" box. They are nice and snug and hold the eggs well with padding between each one. I am sure if Canada post uses the box as a football they eggs will still be broken, but so far it looks pretty good.
The chicken sized ones come in 6X6, 12X6 or 12X12. We chose the 12X6 because it does 18 eggs, so enough for a dozen plus extras, or double them up in a box (because they are only 3"tall) and you can do 36 eggs which is what the 12X12 holds.
Now if a person gets into the larger size for ducks and turkeys then they hold less eggs, but the foam is thicker so accounts for the taller wider eggs.
