Is there such a thing?  I'd like to pretty up the coop with some vines or something, but not too sure what would survive long enough to climb the fence. flower

I've never tried it on a coop before but Virginia creeper a perennial vine that is tough. It changes colour in the fall as well.

I try to just let just grass grow but even blocking off parts of the run those little chow chickens eat it all to nothing in no time, once they set foot on it. they sure love greens lol.
I found even if they don't eat it, they trample it down n scratch it lolol.

You have great enquiry here, I want to know to!!

But growing zone also have to be thought of.. no way can I grow what eastern Canada grows.
LOL little pine and spruce trees? I do know a poplar tree is safe from them( providing leaves are out of jump height lol)... and they weed eat around it lol. But then you got to contend with height after years:(

They have trees for shade, but it would be nice to have something pretty. English Ivy is pretty indestructible but also invasive. I'd love to have some climbing roses but suspect they are tasty.

Climbing roses might survive if you plant them away from the fence or side of the coop.  Once they get going tie them to the side of the coops or chicken runs. Virginia Creeper didn't survive my chickens and turkeys.
