SOME DIFFERENT PEACOCK COLORS purple, white eyed, pied and others

These are some of the peacocks that I have been working on for years and have waited a very long time for some of them.

She is doing fine, and so is her sister, and yellower than ever.

I love the pied look.

You can just tell that rooster's thinking WHOA, that's how you score the ladies! And the dog's like, ENOUGH damn tail already!!! LOL

Oh my, how on earth, really, how on earth, could anything be as beautiful as what you have shown us. Oh man...I just do not know how it can be so. Those were the most magnificent things I have ever seen in the world of bird. I am not kidding. It was amazing to see the males perched on the fences with those tails hanging down. And now I wonder too, how on earth can that bird hold that massively sized whack of feathers up to display as they do? I am so impressed and I just can't stand it! Just wow, I feel bedazzled. Those are absolutly beautiful birds pops. I too would love to have some but I'm not even gonna go there. I will view and ooh and ahh from a distance I love their call. It makes it seems like you really are out in nature.

THANK YOU all for the comments well today was spend cleaning buildings with mountains of snow still around, took some more pictures and will take some more tomorrow and post, some very different ones, watched a peacock mate with guinea hen this morning, the image is not good, I have a guinea americauna cross that has been with is for years.

The birds are very happy this year, have not been closed up all winter.

What a lovely thread to have revisited this morning. As I said before, I will say again, could there be anything more beautiful than this species of bird? I felt like hundreds of eyes were looking at me...beyond the beyond with beauty. Have a most beautiful day, CynthiaM
