Ducklings and hatching eggs available for pre-order

Country Thyme Farm has a limited availability of Silver Appleyard, Fawn & White Indian Runner and mixed colour Muscovy ducklings and hatching eggs left for sale this spring. We'll also have a small number of Chantecler chicks and hatching eggs. Guaranteed April and May hatches are already full, still lots of availability for June hatches. All of our birds are utility and pet quality, bred to APA breed standards but not bred for show.

Chantecler chicks $6 each; eggs $1.50 each
All ducklings $9 each; eggs $2 each

Eggs can be shipped, day-olds can be picked up on farm or delivered anywhere between Red Deer & Calgary.

Thanks for the poke, I did actually miss that message. I will take a look at your message right away. We are pretty delayed on the season but the hens are now laying very well so I'm hopeful to be able to start sending some hatching eggs out last week of May after our first test hatch is finished.

Farmchiq, sorry for missing your post here as well. I unfortunately do not have any experience being on the receiving end of Muscovy eggs, but in my experience with other duck eggs they seem to be a bit more prone to damaged air cells in shipping and Muscovy eggs are tricky in an incubator as it is. Hopefully you have a Muscovy hen you can use as a broody, they tend to be able to hatch anything.
